- Go to the MPESA menu and select "Lipa na M-Pesa"
- Select "Paybill"
- Select "Enter business no." and enter the KPLC prepaid Lipa na M-Pesa paybill number i.e. 888880 and press "OK"
- Select "Enter account no", i.e your pre-paid meter number (11-digits) and press "OK".
- Enter the amount and press "OK".
- Enter M-Pesa PIN and press "OK".
- Click OK and wait for the M-Pesa Hakikisha pop up message.
- You will receive a confirmation SMS from MPESA shortly.
- Kenya Power will then generate a prepaid token for your meter and send it to you through SMS.
