PROCEDURE TO SEND MONEY TO CO-OPERATIVE BANK FROM M-PESA

STEPS

1. Open the Safaricom SIM toolkit and go to the M-PESA menu.

2. Select Lipa Na M-PESA.

3. Then select Pay Bill.

4. Select Enter business no. (Co-operative bank Pay Bill number 400200) and press OK.

5. Select Enter Account no., i.e. the Co-operative Bank account number you are transferring funds to and press “OK”

6. Next Enter amount i.e. the amount you want to deposit and press “OK”

7. Enter your M-PESA PIN and press “OK”

8. M-PESA HAKIKISHA. You will receive a notification pop-up window from M-Pesa e.g. “Pay Co-operative Bank KSh1200.00 for Account 0100 xxxx xxxx, where you’ll have 20 seconds to verify that the details are correct, if correct, dismiss or ignore, if wrong, enter the number 1 and press Send to Stop the transaction. Pressing “Cancel” will complete the transaction. 

9. You will receive a confirmation SMS from M-Pesa immediately.

10. Finally, Co-operative Bank will then send you a confirmation SMS shortly.
