What is Zoom?

Zoom is a software that many businesses and schools are using around the world and it has become extremely popular in recent months.

It is great for video conferences, webinars, calls, meetings, or even chats.

There is a free version and paid version for more capabilities.

It is applicable to every OS and or mobile device.

 Problem

So you are stuck in a situation whereby you can not join/ start a zoom meeting before the main host is connected. You need to be independent of the host and join wherever you can so follow along to find the solution.

Solution

Steps to allow participants to join meeting before the host

        1)     Open up the zoom application

        2)    On the top right corner gear icon, navigate to your settings

·        A settings window will be opened (will pop up on the screen)

        3)    Select the Profile tab from the left menu list

·        This will display your profile showing your avatar, with option buttons – edit my profile, upgrade to pro and view advanced features.

        4)    In your Profile settings, select view advanced features.

This will open a page in your browser whereby you can make the changes to your zoom account.

    5)  To allow participants to join your meeting before you do, Enable the join before host option
