How to view and customize your host key
Your
generated 6-digit host key is modifiable and enterable. The meetings you
schedule will use this host key.
1. First, log in to
the Zoom website.
2. Profile in the navigation menu.
3. Go to the Meeting
section by scrolling down.
4. Click the eye symbol next to
your host key to view the six-digit
pin you are currently using.
5. Hit Edit.
6. Enter the required new host key and click Save.
How to claim host
If you need to
claim the host role when you join a meeting and you join before the host is
enabled, follow these instructions.

1. Join the meeting.
2. On the meeting controls screen, click Participants .
3. At the bottom of the participant's list, click Claim Host.
4. Type in the host key.
5. Press "Claim
Host."
You will have host
controls in the meeting once the host key has been validated.

1. Join the meeting.
2. In the meeting controls, select More.
3. Click on Claim Host
