Resolve App Installation Errors within the Google Play Store


Sometimes you may need to install a new application from Google Play. However, your phone gives you errors try again on google play. Don’t worry this is a small issue in Google that you will know how to solve the play store errors today.

Whatsapp cannot install google play error

Try the following methods to fix the Google Play Store errors.

Make sure your date and time are set correctly

  1. Open the Settings menu on your device.
  2. Tap Additional settings
  3. Tap Date & Time
  4. If the box next to “Automatic date & time” is un-checked, tap the box to check it.  If the box is checked, Tap the box next to "Automatic date & time" to uncheck it and then tap it again to check it.
  5. Press the "Home" button to return to the Android's home screen. Your date and time will be automatically updated.

Clear the Google Play Store cache

  1. Open the Settings menu  on your device.
  2. Go to Apps or Application Manager. (These options may vary depending on your device.)
  3. Select All apps or Manage apps and then scroll down to the Google Play Store app.
  4. Open the app details and tap the Force stop button.
  5. Tap the Clear cache button. (You may also clear data if you know your login credentials as I will illustrate below).
  6. Repeat the steps above, but replace Google Play Store in step 3 with Google Play services.
  7. Try to download the app again.

Clear the Google Play Store data

If cleaning the cache of the Google Play Store and Google Play Services doesn't resolve the issue, try clearing the Google Play Store data:
  1. Open the Settings menu on your device.
  2. Go to Apps or Application Manager. (This option may vary depending on your device.)
  3. Scroll to All apps and then scroll down to the Google Play Store app.
  4. Open the app details and tap the Force stop button.
  5. Tap the Clear data button.
  6. Clear data button
  7. When the cache and data are cleared, the Google Play Store error should be resolved. If not, move on to the next step.

Remove your Google account/ accounts and then add it again

If clearing the cache and data doesn't seem to resolve the issue, remove your Google account(s) from your device, then restart your device and then add your Google account(s) again.
  1. Open the Settings menu   on your device.
  2. Under Accounts, tap the name of the account that you want to remove.
Note: If you're using a Google account, tap Google, and then the account.
  1. Tap the Menu icon   on the top right corner of the screen.
  2. Tap Remove account.
  3. Restart your device and add your account again. Then try to download the app in play store again.
