Steps to find location via WhatsApp

Assuming you already have WhatsApp installed on your phone, you can open the WhatsApp app. If
not installed, you can download it from google playstore.

Next you will open the WhatsApp conversation or contact
you wish to send the location on WhatsApp.

Then you tap on the pin in the Message box, to use the location feature. It is grouped together with Document, Camera,
Gallery, Audio, and Contact.

You already know what’s next, tap the location icon. It will then scan your
present location and will suggest nearby locations to you.

You have two options to select from:

You can Share
live location or

Alternatively, you can Send your current location

For live
location you can choose the duration
in which you want the recipient to see your live location e.g. it can be either
in 15 minutes, 1 hour, or 8 hours.

Finally, hit the send button to share your location
