How to Pay DStv via M-Pesa sim toolkit

1.      Go to M-Pesa menu.

2.    Select Lipa na M-PESA,

3.    Then Pay Bill.

4.    Enter the DStv Mpesa Paybill number, 444900. (this is the official paybill number In Kenya)

5.     Enter your DStv Smart Card number (the Smart Card number is on the card in the decoder)

6.    Enter the amount you want to pay as per your subscription of choice.

7.     Lastly, Enter your PIN.

8.    Check and confirm that you have entered the right information and hit OK to send and complete the payment transaction.

9.    You will receive a transaction confirmation SMS from M-Pesa when you are finished.

 

Using Mobile Banking Apps

Paying via KCB APP:

1.      Select “Make Utility Payments Under PAYBILL

2.    Then Search BILLER

3.    Select “DSTV”

4.    Enter your Bill Smartcard number then click PROCEED

 

5.     It will fetch your bill then prompt for you to finish payment.

6.    Enter Amount to pay and submit

 

Using MPESA App

        1)   Login to your MPESA app account

 

        2)  Go to TRANSACT tab

 

        3)  Click the PAYBILL button

 

        4)  Search Business, i.e. DSTV (it will display its paybill)

 

        5)  Or just click on TV AND INTERNET (IT will list TV paybills)

 

        6)   Select  DSTV 444900

 

        7)    Enter Account Number (Your Smartcard Number)

 

        8)   Enter Amount

 

        9)   Enter PIN
