How will I Open and Save into Lock Savings Account?
        1.     Go to M-PESA menu.

 

        2.   Select Loans and Savings

        3.   Select M-Shwari

        4.   Select Lock savings account

        5.    Open an account

        6.   Choose to save from either M-PESA or from M-Shwari

 

        7.    Enter Target Amount

 

        8.   Enter period between 1-12 months

 

        9.   Enter amount to save

 

        10.  You will receive an SMS confirmation that your Lock Savings Account has been set up.

 

        11. So the next time that you save, go to the Lock Savings option in M-Shwari, choose to save from either M-Shwari or M-PESA, enter amount and then your M-PESA PIN to complete your transaction.
