Google will address a bug that damages your images.

Google has promised to address a problem with its Photos website that makes user-uploaded images appear broken and corrupted.

The concerns were initially brought up on a Reddit site, where members noted that their images were displaying aging effects that you may see on an actual photograph, like cracks that distort the image.

Others posted images that looked to have water damage, including stains and discoloration, as well as blurring on the side of the image. Users who were anxious also uploaded damaged images to Google Photos' Help page.

Some users claim that the issue only exists for images that were uploaded to Google Photos between 2013 and 2015 and that it persists even after the images have been downloaded.
